PLEASE TAKE NOTE: For the 2012 season I will have a very limited number of days available due to other work obligations. All anglers who have fished with me in the past will have first crack at my guide days. I will not take any firm bookings until mid-November, after the ZEC draws. Also, I will only take bookings for 3 or more days. You may also want to note that I have increased my daily guide rates for 2012 as well (see rates page). I am expensive, however, think I am worth every penny. When you fish with me I will provide rods, reels, flies and casting instruction during your trip. If I do not fit within your angling budget, no worries, I will be happy to recommend other guide options for you!

Friday, July 1, 2011 July 1 updateOk, so it has been a while since my last post... shoot me, but I have been fishing and catching tons of fish with clients! Over 60 landed with almost as many lost. 8 over 30 and two hovering around the 40 mark :) now THAT is fishing! To say the fishing has been good would be an understatement as it has been nothing short of CRAZY GOOD! Tons of fish in the Cascapedia, lots in the Bonaventure and a decent number in the Petite. Water levels remain good, although the branches of the Cascapedia were a bit low until yesterday. I am guiding there tomorrow and will probably smoke them again with Jimmy and Stevie! By the way, Stevie gets his head shaved tonight due to his 30+ pounder landed. A deal is a deal! Breaking out the straight razor for the Kojak look! :)
So that is it for now... finally have a day off and instead of fishing, like I usually would do, I am going to actually catch up on some work and rest. O.k., so maybe I will spend some time catching a few trout in my trout pond behind my chalet. After all, it is fishing season and you cannot catch them in January!
